Hello and welcome!

I’m Lucas Howard, and I live full time in a travel trailer with my wife, Alice, and our four (yep, I know) cats: Squishy, Binx, Beasley, and Axel. I work in cybersecurity and Alice runs her own business (A Mush Better Life), and this allows us to both work remotely. We sold our house around September 2022 to travel the United States, and create new memories. This space is for me to express myself and hopefully help some people on their path.

How did we get here?

In February 2020, we closed on a gorgeous 4 bedroom home with a finished basement. It basically looked like a frat house, honestly. There was a wet bar, a massive deck and screened-in porch, a hot tub, it was awesome. We wanted to host friends and have our family reunion there.

But then COVID happened. We had all of this house and no one to share it with. I felt it ended up being too much to take care of, and we started seeing people on TikTok selling their home to become digital nomads. Alice and I love traveling together, adventuring and seeing new places, so we decided to give it a go!

We’ve been all over the east coast now, and I’m really looking forward to sharing more about our adventures and how we adapted!
